I thought this was a cute outfit so I was trying to get a good shot of JL. Unfortunately, she figured out that I was trying to take her picture and she kept saying "Cheese!" and jumping. Here is the best of my efforts. I still think she is cute.

Park Fun

We spent some time at the park this afternoon. Jordan, of course, was having a lot of fun. So were mom & dad.

Visiting Jen

Our dear friend Jen was at the Charlotte airport for a layover yesterday (she lives in Boston). Jordan took her a pizza & we had a fun dinner together!

Jordan's Aunt JaneGrace is only 4 1/2 years older and a few sizes bigger than she is. Today, Jordan got a box of hand-me-down clothes from her, and had to try them all on--at the same time. It was pretty funny.

a little bit sick

the winter crud has been making its way thru our home lately. the other day, jordan came to me and said that pooh bear was "a little bit sick" and we had to take him to the doctor. she insisted that he put on his boots and get ready to go. this picture was her pretending that she had just arrived at the doctor and she was feeling sad for pooh. it was really precious!

Chocolate Cake

Here are the long-awaited chocolate cake photos! (You know who you are if you have been waiting for them. ;) ). For the rest of you, they are just funny. She was pretty much an instant fan.

SNOW!

Yesterday, we woke up to the first snowfall in Charlotte since before Jordan was born. We bundled up and went outside to play. Her biggest question was "Can I eat snow??" By afternoon it had turned rainy, so the snow didn't last, but it made for a fun morning.

Last Friday, Jamie & I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. While we went out to dinner, Jordan hung out with Ken & Laura--looks like they had a pretty fun time! :)

This morning I heard Jordan being suspiciously quiet (all you parents know what I mean!) and I found her in the bathroom playing with my makeup. Unfortunately she used my darkest eyeshadow as foundation. She looked really funny! Luckily for me, it all washed up easily with soap and water.
