Cousin Christmas

We celebrated Christmas this morning with some of Jordan's cousins...she is holding Luke, sitting next to Chloe, who is holding Win. They are all having a blast together!

New Hair Cut

We finally decided that it was time for Jordan to get an updated haircut. After a few tears shed (Mommy's), Jordan came out with a really cute new 'do.

Uncle Timmy's Birthday

Jordan's dear friend, "Uncle Timmy," had a big birthday last Thursday. We enjoyed celebrating him a lot. Jordan helped him blow out his candles.

Big Girl Bed

Jordan has started to transition to a "big girl bed." Here she is the morning after her first night. She did great and she loves it!

O Christmas Tree...

Jordan & her friend Morgan helped to decorate the Christmas tree and had a grand time doing so. Now we are trying to convince Jordan that the ornaments need to stay on the tree...she likes to rearrange them a lot.

A Model in the Making

Jordan's Aunt Rachel is a really talented photographer! Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Jordan found that she really liked posing for pictures whenever Aunt Rachel had the camera. Here are a few favorite shots.

Weekend in Asheville

We spent last weekend in Asheville with Jamie's parents (a.k.a Grandma and Papa Goose). We stayed at the Grove Park Inn (see the picture of JL on the rocking chair) and enjoyed their beautiful view, breakfast buffet, swimming pool, playground, and fine dining restraunt (let's just say that Jordan was the only toddler in the place! but she was very well behaved! :) ). We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and weather! Jordan had so much fun that she kept asking to go with Grandma & Grandpa on the airplane. We decided not to let her quite yet... ;)

Meet Jordan, the Zebra

Last Saturday, Jordan went to her friend Thomas' costume birthday party. We dressed her in a cow outfit. She quickly informed us that she was not a cow, but a zebra. So, here she is in her zebra fullness. She, Thomas and Lydia all enjoyed several rides around the yard in Thomas' wagon, too.

Hot Stuff & Big News!

Jordan heard that tall boots were going to be in this fall. She wants to be on the cutting edge of any fashion trend!

We have two other big pieces of news to report:
1) Jordan used the potty for the first time the other day! We were all so proud and she earned a coveted sticker!
2) Jordan also had surgery to get ear tubes yesterday. This will (hopefully) take care of the chronic ear infections. She was a complete trooper and her pleasant self throughout!

Matthews Alive Festival

There is a little town called Matthews near Charlotte where this weekend they are having a festival. Jordan got to ride some rides with her friend Aiden yesterday. Dad & I were pleasantly surprised that she wasn't scared at all by any of the rides.
