Here she is! She is perfect and beautiful. We have been calling her "Stella Bella" a bit - which means Beautiful Star - mixing a bit of Latin with Italian, of course.
Jordan has been great with her. She wants to hold her constantly - as well as pry her eyes open, stick her fingers in Stella's ears, and otherwise man-handle her... you know, big sister stuff. She is super excited and has been excellent. We are very proud of her.
Here are a couple shots of Jordan holding Stella on the boppy pillow, just a couple hours after we got home.
Here is me bringing home the new arrival. She was 7 lbs when we left the hospital. So small that we tightened the car seat all the way (notice the strap hanging down) and there was still a lot of room left.

And, on another note..
ah, yes, the manhandling--quite fun and it lasts for months...not quite sure when that's going to stop despite many warnings and even a couple of time-outs. usually, though, the manhandling is an attempt at affection from an eager and perhaps overexcited young boy. I hope you are enjoying having the whole family at home!

It looks like big sister Jordan is taking charge right away, helping mommy. That's good. Glad to see Jordan is being a good big sister and enjoying her pretty little sister.
