Davis was 4 months old yesterday. I want to share (and be able to remember) what he's like right now. I know he's changing so fast and I want to be able to hold onto these early days...
Personality wise, he's a happy and sweet guy. He's very social and has started to jabber at people a lot. He'll stare at someone until he gets their attention. He still wants to be held most of the time, but has improved on his tolerance of being on the floor. He likes to play on the activity gym and grab the hanging toys and roll around. He has gotten pretty good at sucking on his hands. Whenever Stella catches him, though, she grabs his hands and says, "No, Davis!
Yucky!" Pretty funny. He's tolerating tummy time better as well, and can roll from his belly to back when he wants too. He's started to hold on to a small toy and bring it to his mouth. When given a bottle, he'll eat 4-5 oz. at a time. He still likes to sleep in our bed and he has us pretty well trained to let him. I weighed him this morning & he was 15 lbs! He's wearing 3-6 month clothes still, but seems to be almost too long for them. Maybe he'll be tall like Daddy? He's made several of the ChildWatch workers at the Y fall in love with him. He has a way with the ladies... ;)
The girls continue to adore him and love to help with his needs. We feel really grateful that they have both made such a good transition. He's a wonderful blessing and perfect addition to our family.
