Driving Dad's Truck

Last night Jordan decided she was ready to start driving. The one good thing was that she insisted on having her seat belt on. :) Smart girl.

Dinner with Baby Jack

One of Jordan's favorite friends, Baby Jack, is moving next week to Charlottesville. We had a great dinner with Jack & his daddy & mommy, Chris & Kim, last night. Jordan had fun telling Jack all the things on the Baby Einstein movie and giving him toys to play with. We are going to miss all three of them very much!

New Baby Doll

Jordan has been super into baby dolls lately. She is very cute with them. Here are a few (not-so-great) pictures of her with her new baby. Everyone keeps asking her what the doll's name is. Jordan says "baby."

20 months old

Jordan is 20 months old today. Wow, this is going fast! Here are some of the things she likes to do these days: she is practicing jumping, which looks like her crouching down, then taking a step forward; she loves to play with her baby dolls; she loves to color; she wants to hang out with all the neighbors and knows all their names; and she likes to play outside & pick up sticks, rocks, and other natural artifacts.

Some things she does that get her into trouble are: playing with the computer, rolling all the toilet paper off the roll, unloading the dishwasher by herself (always when the dishes are dirty), and feeding the dogs her "leftovers."

She is talking a lot and putting new phrases together like "This is milk" or "Daddy work." New vocabulary includes "tissue," the names of everyone in our small group, and "bless you." She also understands most of what we say to her.

She is eating more foods now, but her favorites are goldfish, broccoli, and blueberries. She has been eating A LOT of blueberries. She calls them "boobies." Don't be confused if she asks you for some. ;)
